My sweet baby girl was released from the hospital today.   After 3 long days she got to come home.  She is not completely recovered but we are finally on our way.  I am so grateful to the Pediatric dept of BSA hospital.  They were WONDERFUL!  It was so nice to have such a pleasant experience. 

On Tuesday night I started to prepare my lesson for young womens this Sunday.  The lesson happens to be on Eternal Families.  Tuesday was still especially scary and I received great comfort from this lesson.  It was a silent reminder to me that no matter what was to happen she is MINE.  For all eternity.  I am so very grateful for this knowledge and the blessing that each one of my children is mine.  Nothing can take that away from me save my own poor decisions.  I am so grateful for friends here in Amarillo.  This was a scary and troublesome time for me and my family and it was nice to know we had friends who cared and loved us.  For all of you who prayed for us and helped us thank you.  Thank you for your kind words and gentle concerns.  I love you all!

Breilman,  Harlee, and Ella.   This was Sunday February 24.  Harlee is big enough now we lay her on a blanket on the floor so she can roll around. She loves it.  The other 2 thought it a good idea to get  ont the floor with her.  They LOVE their baby sister!

My brother Daniel is leaving in 2 days for the Idaho Pocatello Mission.  It got Jared and I thinkin about our little man and that one day he will be goin on a mission.  Jared thought it would be a cute shot to put Bman in his daddy’s mission suit with a tag and take some pictures.  He is so cute!  I am not quite ready for him to go out yet though.  But in the meantime he wants to be like his Uncle Daniel!

Ella is 5 now!  It is so crazy to me how big she has gotten.  She is so grown up and learning more and more everyday!

This is my scary man.  He got these fake teeth in a bingo game from Aunt Becky and he had lots of fun with them. 

Me and the kids threw a little birthday party for Jared. We had balloons and cake and candy and all sorts of fun.  Birthdays have never been a big deal to Jared and so the kids and I have always made a big deal out of it.  Harlee got into it especially this year.  She had big birthday smiles for daddy!

I know this has taken me a little while but things have just gotten away from me.  We had a wonderful Christmas season.  We traveled down to Keller to visit my family for the holidays this year.  It was the first time in a long time that I got to spend Christmas at home with all my siblings there.  My brother Daniel will be entering the MTC on February 6 so this was the last time again for awhile.  That is life as we grow up but it was really nice to be together again.  The kids love it too.  They love their aunt and their uncle.  Daniel and Katy have been able to come up and spend some time with us but with Chris being at the Y it is rare that we get to see him.  It was especially nice for the kids to get to play with him.  On the first morning we were there Bman made it a point to make sure Chris was not lazy and didnt sleep in too long.  Chris was a good sport and soon Bman and Chris were back to bein buddies. 

Christmas morning the kids found that Santa had come.  It is so much fun to watch their excitement in the morning.  I think mom and dad were more excited than they were.  Only for a short time in our lives are we able to have that sort of innocence and imagination.  It will be sad to watch that go away.  Kids are losing that younger and younger these days and it breaks my heart.  Ella did some shopping this year.  She had 15$ saved up and grandma took her to the dollar store to buy presents.  She was more excited to watch people open the gifts she had bought than to open her own I think.  Although now she is missing her money.  She cant wait to fill her jar so she can earn another 5$.  Who knows what she will buy next.

All in all it was a wonderful holiday filled with many blessings.  My grandfather had a triple bypass operation about a week before Christmas and has recovered very nicely.  It is amazing what lots of prayer and blessings can do.  This especially made this holiday a time of reflection for me and for my family.  I hope you all had a very Merry holiday!

Harlee is finally sleeping in her crib in her and Ellas room.  We love it.  It is so nice to have our room back.  Most mornings Harlee wakes up before Ella but on this particular morning Harlee slept until around 9am.  When I heard her crying I was in the middle of something so I couldnt get there right away.  When I went in to get her Ella had crawled into the crib and was singing to her.  Harlee calmed right down and just lay there listening to and watching Ella.  It always makes me happy to watch such acts of love come out of my children.
